Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of GehlosApp — the mobile application, website at gehlosapp.com, and related services (together, the “Service”). The Service is operated by Wimentor Limited (“GehlosApp”, “we”, “us”).

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country, if higher) to use GehlosApp. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed these Terms and agrees to them on your behalf where required by law.

3. The Service

GehlosApp is a comedy-focused short-video platform. You may watch, create, upload, like, comment on, and share comedy content, and follow other creators, subject to these Terms and our Community Guidelines.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, especially on limited networks.

4. Accounts

• Provide accurate information and keep your login details secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.
• One person or entity should maintain one primary account unless we agree otherwise.
• We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our Guidelines.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of videos, comments, and other material you submit (“User Content”). By uploading or posting User Content, you grant GehlosApp a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, modify (for technical delivery such as encoding), distribute, and display that content in connection with operating and promoting the Service.

You represent that:

• you created the content or have all rights needed to post it;
• it does not infringe others’ rights (including copyright, privacy, and publicity); and
• it complies with our Community Guidelines and applicable law.

We may remove or restrict User Content that violates these Terms, our Guidelines, or the law, or that we reasonably believe harms the Service or other users.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• post non-comedy spam, scams, malware, or deceptive content;
• harass, threaten, or engage in hate speech or illegal activity;
• upload nudity, sexual content, or graphic violence;
• impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation;
• scrape, reverse engineer, or overload the Service beyond normal use;
• circumvent safety, upload, or access controls.

Full rules live in the Community Guidelines. Violations may lead to content removal, strikes, suspension, or permanent ban.

7. Intellectual property

GehlosApp, its branding, design, software, and documentation are owned by Wimentor Limited or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer any ownership of our IP to you. Feedback you send us may be used without obligation to you.

8. Copyright complaints

If you believe content on GehlosApp infringes your copyright, contact legal@gehlosapp.com with: your contact details, a description of the work, the URL or ID of the allegedly infringing material, and a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized. We may remove content and, where appropriate, disable repeat infringers.

9. Third-party services

The Service may link to or integrate third parties (for example Google or Facebook sign-in, Google Play, or cloud storage). Their terms and privacy policies apply to those services. We are not responsible for third-party sites or services we do not control.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Comedy content is user-generated; we do not endorse every joke or opinion posted on the Service.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wimentor Limited and its directors, employees, and partners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (if any) or (b) USD 50.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the maximum extent allowed.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account in Settings (subject to our deletion process and grace period described in the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for us, or for prolonged inactivity. Provisions that by nature should survive (including licenses already granted for content distributed before deletion, disclaimers, and liability limits) will survive termination.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be signaled in the app. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Cameroon, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence require otherwise. Courts in Cameroon will have jurisdiction over disputes, subject to those mandatory protections.
